We are thrilled to bring you the highlights from the inaugural session of the World Leadership Foundation (WLF), held on the 20th September 2024, at 08:00 PM IST via Zoom, with the theme “Visionary Beginnings” The event marked the launch of a global dialogue on leadership, innovation, and transformative change.
Ms. Tabitha Ngozi, our Country Director, Nigeria, Directorate of Entrepreneurship, graciously hosted the event, guiding participants through an inspiring series of discussions.
We were also honored to have a Welcoming Address by Ms. Moumita Chakraborty, Founder Chairperson, and a Keynote Address by Mr. Hrik Chakraborty, Global Head of Directorates, both of whom set the tone for this transformative event.
Event Highlights
Welcoming Address by Ms. Moumita Chakraborty
Ms. Moumita Chakraborty extended a warm welcome to the participants, sharing her vision for WLF as a platform that fosters innovative, forward-thinking leadership. She emphasized the importance of embracing challenges and opportunities in today’s global landscape, calling for bold action and collaborative efforts to drive change.

Keynote Address by Mr. Hrik Chakraborty
In his keynote, Mr. Chakraborty highlighted the vital role of leadership in navigating an increasingly interconnected and complex world. He shared his vision for a future where leadership transcends borders and sectors, focusing on innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth.

Session 1: Leading with a Vision
This session, moderated by Ms. Tabitha Ngozi, opened with a detailed presentation on the Mission and Vision of WLF. The discussion emphasized how visionary leadership is essential for tackling global challenges and seizing new opportunities. Leaders from various sectors shared insights on inspiring teams, fostering innovation, and maintaining adaptability in an ever-changing world.
Session 2: Organizational Structure of WLF
This session delved into the organizational structure of WLF, explaining how the forum operates at a global scale. The speakers discussed the strategic roles of the various departments and how a well-defined structure allows WLF to achieve its mission. The session underscored the importance of leadership within the organization to ensure efficiency and collaboration across all levels.
Session 3: Current Directorates under WLF
In this insightful session, participants were introduced to the current Directorates under WLF, each spearheading innovative and transformative projects. You can check the WLF Directorate by going the WLF Overview Page and click on the respective button.
Each Directorate was presented with a focus on its mission, goals, and current initiatives aimed at driving leadership and innovation in their respective areas. The session highlighted the importance of these Directorates in addressing critical global challenges through collaboration and strategic action.
Session 4: Introduction to the Leaders of WLF
This session provided attendees with an opportunity to meet the visionary leaders behind WLF. The leadership team, including Ms. Moumita Chakraborty and Mr. Hrik Chakraborty, alongside other key figures, shared their motivations, leadership philosophies, and aspirations for the future. Each leader spoke about their commitment to ensuring that WLF remains a platform for growth, innovation, and leadership excellence.
Session 5: Open Mic Session
The final session of the event, an Open Mic Session, allowed participants to engage directly with the speakers and leaders of WLF. Attendees were invited to share their thoughts, ask questions, and discuss the future direction of WLF. This interactive session encouraged active participation and opened the floor for new ideas, fostering a sense of community and collaboration among global leaders.

LOOKING AHEAD
The success of the inaugural session is just the beginning of our journey. As we move forward, WLF will continue to foster global leadership and collaboration through future events and initiatives. We are excited to announce our next major event:
An International Conference in collaboration with the University of Mexico, scheduled for November 2024. This conference will bring together thought leaders, innovators, and changemakers from across the globe to explore critical issues and chart a course for the future.
